When the sun is positioned just right, it casts splashes of blues and reds in such a manner the sky and water blend together to become nearly indistinguishable from each other. An etched boat gracefully sailing across the ever-changing iridescent background of the Rainbow Sails emulates this intriguing occurrence. A rim of glass chips on iridescent glass form an arctic border of the Solar Ice, which is attractively displayed on a black metal base. Out of the ordinary performance cannot be recognized with ordinary awards: it requires extraordinary awards like the Rainbow Sails and Solar Ice.

The journey to the top is a long, hard climb made by only the very best. Like the views from the top, the Alpine and Ajax afford breathtaking images. The deep, dimensional etching is so realistic you can almost feel the cool mountain breezes. The Alpine’s polished glass panel is bound by two, thick frosted levels to allow it to stand. An Ebony stone base holds the glass on the Ajax, which has been contoured to give the etched graphic a gentle slant.
